Sandy King, President of SSC, Receives a State Proclamation
Sandy King, President of Symbiont Service Corporation, received a state proclamation from Melanie S. Griffin (Secretary, Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation).
Melanie and her staff personally delivered the Proclamation and honored Sandy during a visit to the SSC Englewood Headquarters, Monday July 18th. During the visit from state officials Sandy gave them a tour of our facility and a brief presentation about SSC accomplishments that her and its employees have performed over the years.
Here are some excerpts from the proclamation:
“WHEREAS, Sandra Lynn King been ranked 24th in the Commonwealth Institutes Top 50 Women-Led Businesses in Florida and listed in the Gulf Coast Top 500 Companies by Florida Business Observer.”
“WHEREAS, Sandra Lynn King values symbiotic relationships with customers, vendors, community, the environment and her employees, which is evident with her profit-sharing model.” This year she has also turned the company into an ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) so the employees are now the owners, and will continue the symbiotic values she has set forth in continuing the legacy.
“NOW THEREFORE, the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation herby recognizes Sandra Lynn King for her outstanding achievement throughout 36 years of service as a Certified Air Conditioning Contractor and Geothermal Pool and Spa Installer/ Servicer for the great state of Florida.”
